Social distancing won't keep us distant.

Hello!

How are you?

Today this question feels like less of a trite small talk conversation starter, and more of a real reach for connection, offer of support.

Yesterday I had a rare opportunity to drive to Portland, and I was moved by highway signs that turned from announcing travel times to saying “Stay Home, Save Lives”. That is what we are doing.

But social distancing does not have to keep us apart. We can reach out and support each other. Keep in touch. Take a few minutes for messaging, phone calls, shared streaming.

I have watched a few movies with friends while chatting on Netflix Party, Zoomed, even did a Full Moon Ritual with some amazing powerful souls.

Also, if you’d allow me a plug - listening to the same podcast and then chatting about it might be a great idea. There are thousands to chose from, but On Being is particularly soothing to me lately.

Words of encouragement can take many forms - from sweet to subversive. Do you have someone in your life that would love to hear that they are doing f*ing great? Or maybe they are more of an "it's OK if the only thing you did today was breathe" person?

We know it's hard to be separated from our friends and family right now. And Thank You to mail and package delivery services, for helping us connect with something physically tangible. Like a bar of dark chocolate or a greeting card :)

If you’d like to - contact us to put together a personalized "Thinking about you" package force someone. We will mail it to them with care and best wishes. 503-368-7768 or use the CONTACT page

Stay safe, stay sane, and we hope to see you soon in person.
